Recently, a client contacted me about the possibility of building some
sort of a heavy tank for his IG. He sent me a picture of an Ork tank
that he had seen online. I sent him the picture on the right and asked if something like that would suit; he said yes and so it was on. Absolutely! Actually it's a pretty simple conversion which should look pretty good when completed.

Here's my blast from the past for this year! Originally from 2012.

Knocked these together Friday night,to use as Thudd Guns, though I guess since they're rockets, they should be called something else?
I plan on redoing these however, since I just went with materials that I had on hand; the tubes are only 5/32" which feels a tad small for 40K's typically over-sized scaling; I think that 3/16" or 7/32" would be a bit more 40K scale. some of the parts on Hudsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09254648458761984561noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296317619422905579.post-64219208372084473982016-02-29T15:13:00.000-05:002016-02-29T15:14:01.748-05:00Your punishment will be more severeI missed out on buying a punisher cannon when they could be easily obtained through the various

Last year after setting a bunch of lofty hobby goals for 2015, I promptly dropped them all. I really just stopped being all that into 40K, and focused most of my free time on playing RPG's (DnD, Dark Heresy, Only War and Rogue Trader) and building/refinishing guitars, both of which kept me pretty busy. This was my big guitar project last year:

1. Build 2 truck chassis for my Wyverns; I currently use a half-track for my Manticore based on Dave Taylor's awesome truck templates. I completed the hull modifications needed to mount the organist's cockpit and the front plate by lengthening the upper hull by a 1/4" or so, then building a deck from sheet styrene to mount it on.
Next up was mounting the metal plates from the Exorcist on the sides of the tracks, unfortunately, I didn't get any in progress Hudsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09254648458761984561noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296317619422905579.post-12319460105337296802014-09-18T08:00:00.000-04:002014-09-23T10:01:20.333-04:00Ecclesiarch Number 3Yep, I'm building another. I
ended up going 3 and 5 this year, a bit disappointing since I was playing for a bracket title at one point but considering I was using the new SW codex for the first time and had only concocted the list the night before, it was a good learning experience. So here was my list:

I'm definitely digging the Storm Wolf/Storm Fang. Now that GW has put out a few more pics and a 360 view, I think it's a given that I'll be getting one. Too bad that I won't be able to use it at the NOVA this year.
Interestingly, there's a great deal of re-use of elements from other kits, such as the Storm-Talon canopy and partof of the engines, the Storm-Raven sponsons and ramp.&Hudsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09254648458761984561noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296317619422905579.post-87262701793807579332014-06-01T11:59:00.001-04:002014-06-01T11:59:29.980-04:00Too coolCan't understand a word he's saying, But it is cool to see a working KV-2.

Here's the first:
One of the rumored changes is that when charging through terrain, instead of using the current method of rolling 3D6 and dropping the highest to determine the charge distance that instead it's a simple -2" to the charge distance (e.g. 2D6 - 2). So Hudsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09254648458761984561noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3296317619422905579.post-9318225221467959442014-05-07T08:01:00.001-04:002014-05-07T08:01:31.288-04:007th Ed -- What the FOC?So the news has dropped that 7th Ed will allow for lists that ignore the FOC, and across the internet, people are declaring that THIS is the last straw... Hmm... The Taurox is not Fast, The Taurox Prime is and is also BS4. The Taurox is at the points cost previously mentioned, a Space Marine in a Rhino; the Prime is two Space Marines more. So, barring some serious nerfage of the Chimera, I don't see myself replacing Chimeras with Taurox.
