Is it just me?
Is it just me or do the Tau flyers look more primitive than their imperial counterparts? I mean these things remind of stylized pictures of airplanes from the 30's.

The look fits with the lines of the devilfish and the hammerhead though - smooth and graceful. Its not the block of the Marine flyers, or the modern jet look of the DE flyer. Feels a bit more like the designs you saw with some of the experimental German aircraft in WW2, and the Lockheed designs of the 40s and 50s (P-38, Flying Wing, etc.)
